I give regularly to the AMF because they are a highly effective and efficient charity. I know that their methods are well-researched, well-monitored, and documented in a fair and transparent manner. Donations to widespread but treatable health-related issues in developing countries represents one of the most effective forms of giving. This combination of factors places them well above the average charity, as recognised by a number of charity rating services including GiveWell, Giving What We Can, and The Life You Can Save.
