I traveled to the FFHM orphanage in Oaxaca twice in 2013 from Los Angeles. I previously belonged to Park church in Chicago which partnered with the orphanage in years past by sending funding, supplies and volunteers on-site to the orphanage to spend time with the children and help with the construction of a new school for the children.

I have rarely in my time in ministry witnessed an organization that has such a profound impact on providing day-to-day life for children with such love and also efficiency. The children eat well and are taught effectively with teachers from both Mexico and the U.S. I plan on continuing to volunteer with FFHM because of the life it gives to children who would have no other option.
