I was introduced to Family Connections as a volunteer at their redwood city preschool site. I enjoyed reading to the children and watching their faces light up. Family Connections is a special place that provides under-served families with opportunities that they would not normally have access to. I love what this organization stands behind... helping put children on equal educational footing by providing free early childhood education and parent support programs to low-income families in San Mateo County. If you want to make a social impact, this is a great non profit to support!

This is a great foundation that supports more than 4,500 disadvantaged students in East Palo Alto and eastern Menlo Park public schools. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity, as an EPAK volunteer, to help promote educational opportunities and academic success.
