I have been involved with FFHM for the past eight years, most particularly the orphanage in Vicente Guerrero, Baja, Mexico. Every year we have taken teams of volunteers to help and to serve those on-the-ground at the orphanage; every team member has been impressed with the integrity of FFHM and on their focus and commitment to the orphans and to the greater community of need in Vicente Guerrero and the Baja and Mexico. Each of our teams return to Northern California with their minds etched with the poverty found there and the realization that now, they each are better equipped to help; their hearts broken over the poverty and lives affected; and their spirits filled at witnessing the fruit of their labors and the labors of those who preceded them. The Baja is a much better place because FFHM came to Vicente Guerrero and focused on meeting human needs. If the assessment of the value of a non-profit rests in overwhelming success of a charity organized to meet a human need, then FFHM is the role model. .. they are superbly wonderful and unbeatable at what they do, who they are and what they accomplish.
