I am a special education teacher that works with children diagnosed with autism. About 3 years ago, TLCAD offered one of their facility dogs, Magic, to my school. I was the lucky one that accepted Magic into my life. TLCAD trained me extensively and continue to support me if needed. He comes to work with me daily to work with many of the students. They enjoy playing games with him, brushing him, walking him, and snuggling with him. It is so neat to see the interactions between my students and Magic. I'm so glad that I got the opportunity to become a facility dog handler. It has enhanced my experiences with my students because they look forward to spending time with Magic. TLCAD does wonderful work for those with disabilities. Keep it up TLCAD!!
