I have been a Board member and donor to Active Minds for almost ten years, serving as the organization's Treasurer for most of that time. I started serving on the Board when the organization was in its infancy; a staff of just two, a Board of five or six. Now the staff is more than a dozen and the Board has evolved to 19 dedicated professional leaders.

I have been most impressed over this past decade with Active Minds' incredible growth, financial responsibility and stewardship, and its widespread impact. Every dollar that is donated to Active Minds is carefully spent on the activities and programming that will touch the most number of people with responsible, supportive, and inspiring messaging. Through its mission to change the conversation about mental health, Active Minds is changing communities, and saving young lives.
