FONA is passionate and cares about the community & neighborhood of the U.S. National Arboretum. FONA works to keep this needed green space accessible to the public, an event space for weddings and events, and a beautiful resource to feed and teach kids about garden sustainability and health. As a nonprofit they exceed and meet expectations.

I work with organizations that support and work in animal welfare, I volunteered for the WHS, I fostered for the WHS, and I adopted my pets from the WHS. Their commitment to supporting DC animals and the owners that love them exceeds all standards. Their network of volunteers is one of envy and the entire team works tirelessly to ensure all DC animals find love and a home. I am proud to play a small role and am grateful for their work.
