I was fortunate enough to intern for Point Hope for a summer during college. It was fantastic experience to say the least. I was moved by the scope of what Point Hope was able to do, the results they were capable of getting, and the love that their staff poured into their work each and every day. Point Hope was more than a non profit serving at the Buduburam Refugee Camp, they were part of the community, a safe place where everyone knew they could turn for help. Their vision is awesome-Children are fed and educated, their parents are trained, fresh water provided, and medical care arranged. The results are truly amazing and I know they will continue to do amazing work.
