As a member of the Washington Saxophone Quartet, and as a long-time friend and colleague of Ul James, I can say that the WMPA is a wonderful group to work with. The Quartet has had the pleasure of performing twice with the orchestra and each time it was a musical highlight for our group. The musicians are welcoming, the conductor is supportive and so well prepared, he makes it all work! And the repertoire is superb, performing music of our time. All in all, a fantastic experience that we look forward to doing again!!
