Keeping waterways clean is essential. It impacts drinking water, farmland and wildlife. I donate yearly to the hackensack river keepers as they do great work keeping this river clean. They educate and advocate for the river. I have also gone on a guided kayak tour with the riverkeepers - spectacular! I appreciate how they keep me informed on the legislative issues that affect the river. The staff are dedicated and friendly.

I enjoy the programming. It is entertaining, informative and thoughtful. I listen to several of the programs regularly. I listen in the car and on the web.

I volunteered to pack meals for the CFA. The mission of this organization is top notch and they help many many people in NJ. However, staff of the organization have yet to understand the potential value of a volunteer. One bad volunteer experience is a loss of a potential donor for an organization. I had a bad experience with executive staff during my first volunteering and it turned me (and my future donor dollars) off entirely. I was not alone in my assessment, I got the same feedback on the volunteering experience from several people that day. Rude, dismissive, unfriendly. Opportunity lost for the CFA.

The Lark is a wonderful vehicle for new works. The Lark supports many new and talented playwrights. Highly collaborative, energetic and vibrant environment. I enjoy sitting in on reading whenever I can.
