I've been assisting these folks for several years and been to several board meetings. I've seen videos of what they do in Uganda. Children were spending hours every day lugging water from dirty pools to their homes. They made these trips at the risk of rape and attacks by animals or thugs. This non-profit has used the donations they've received to supply homes with large cisterns to hold rain water funneled off of their roofs and thus freed up the children so they can spend more time in school and recreation. They don't just send money to their Ugandan non-profit partner, they travel to Uganda every year to check on progress and learn about other ways to help.
