Review for Shadow Cats Rescue, Round Rock, TX, USA
The mission of this amazing organization is twofold. It educates the public about population controll. It's not about bringing an unwanted cat or kitten to a shelter and hope it's adopted before it's killed. It's about TNR spaying and neutering feral cats and returning them to their environment. It's about doing the same for your own cat. Finally they give a home to cats the public would deem not adoptable. FIV+, FLiv cats, cats missing a leg or eye, etc.
They work with other sanctuaries and adoption agencies to provide a unified network to improve the lives of many felines.
Truly an amazing and unique non-profit.
Review for FIV Cat Rescue, Fort Bragg, CA, USA
I have a facebook page, Motton for Mayor, that is about my FIV cat. I was searching to connect with other pages about FIV. I opened the FIV rescue page. I was extremely impressed with the information. Then on the page was a picture of a cat named Salsa. I fell in love. I contacted Frankie and asked about adopting her. I wanted another FIV+ kitty. She did a through investigation into my background and cat care. My references were called and my vet. Salsa then traveled from FT. Bragg CA to Houston. We both have a mission: educate the public that FIV is not a death sentence. This is an amazing shelter that adopts out cats to only loving homes.
