Review for Wounded Warrior Project, Jacksonville, FL, USA
WWP is a disgrace to the hard working people of this community. This organization has no interest in doing anything to benefit the wounded community. I am a double amputee wounded in Afghanistan in 2011. When I asked WWP to help me fight the VA to change a law that denied access to a grant to modify my home for my disabilities, they said it wasn't worth the time for one Marine. Just because I was the only one being affected it wasn't worth the time because they couldn't use the story to make money. Since when is being a non profit about making money, I thought that was the last thing they cared about.
Hello Slic324. We apologize if we were unable to provide you satisfactory service. The WWP Policy and Government Affairs Team works on behalf of veterans and caregivers to create, advocate, and lobby for new legislation that may positively impact a warrior's quality of life while keeping our community informed about changes in laws and regulations. If we could have done something better, we'd like to know more. Please feel free to email me at socialmedia@woundedwarriorproject.org with more information about this issue, and thank you for your service.
