I have been with fallen feathers for 5 years and this place has changed my life. for this being a non profit organization jody goes out of her way to save animals in any way possible, their are points in the year that more volunteers would be a huge help. However i don't think i would have gotten over my depression if i hadn't gone here in the beginning i would go for 8 hr or longer shifts and i absolutely loved spending my time working hard for these animals however college has stated and i barley get to go anymore but i wish i could go back this place has helped me grow and strive to bigger and better things i am getting A's in my courses from what all jody taught me and I'm going to school to be just like her. Honestly all the volunteers here are my family and they are the greatest people i have ever met. I think for a non profit organization Jody does a pretty amazing life changing job here. I love this woman to death. I have brought many friends and they have all stuck around to help in anyway they can and fall in love with the birds, jody , and the education here as well. I have even adopted a cockatoo from jody and her adoption policy is the best because i have had her for 4 years and i can't even tell you how great of a bird she is. I also do shows with jody and teach many people about our owls and hawks, and it just bring me so much joy to interest someone let alone it helped me get rid of my fear of talking to others. Jody is the biggest inspiration and i know she will always be there like a 2nd mother to me.Come HELP OUT we would greatly appreciate it.
