Speak Child was founded in 2005. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; a community of artists passionate about the written and spoken word. We help youth develop critical thinking skills, while increasing basic reading competency. Our organization focuses on reading & creative writing programs, geared toward increasing literacy through the Arts.

I were able to provide more resources to the communities we serve. I would like to provide our reading and writng workshops to schools, libraries and other community orgnizations.

The lack of financial resources, and a facility to conduct our workshops in, on a full time basis.

We are a grass roots organization compelled to eradicating illiteracy. Our mission is to help youth read better and more. We are a small organization seeking community partners to help us, help communities in need.
