I myself am a Wounded Warrior. I did 3 tours in the Middle East and came home broken. A friend told me about WWP after some of my dealings with the VA and the stresses I was going through. I've gone to 2 WWP programs and they are just amazing. Vets having fun, not talking about what happened to them (which is what the VA always wants), just stress free fun. And I really mean it. I went away for a weekend with them and WWP paid for the hotel, the food and the SCUBA instructor volunteers his time to us. Just an awesome program that has really helped me get out of the house form time to time and reconnect with other vets to talk.
