My name is Katelyn Elizabeth Norman, but everyone calls me Katie. I am 25 years old and dealing with the long term health issues from the treatment for a brain tumor that I received as a baby. I have multiple meningiomas in the brain. Most recently, one of the tumors was causing double vision in my left eye, so I went to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston earlier this year for six weeks of proton radiation treatment. Home Away Boston made the experience so much easier and more comfortable for my mother, me, and our support/cheerleader girls. I feel we couldn’t have done what we had to do if it wasn’t for Home Away. You gave us the absolute perfect place to stay and we had the most wonderful experience while in Boston!
