Review for Heard Museum, Phoenix, AZ, USA
As a life-long Arizona resident I have always enjoyed visiting the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona. The Heard offers the local community as well as visitors from around the world insight into the culture and lifestyles of indigenous peoples. The long-term and permanent galleries feature articles from the extensive Heard collections. The changing galleries often feature traveling exhibits in addition to artifacts from the Heard collections. There is always something new to see at the Heard. I currently serve at the Heard as a member of Las Guias. We give guided tours of the Heard campus and galleries to our museum guests. Being part of the team of guides offers me ongoing educational opportunities second to none. As a member of The Heard Guild I work with hundreds of other volunteers at major events such as the annual Heard Guild Indian Fair & Market to expand and extend the Heard mission "to educate the public about the heritage and the living cultures and arts of Native peoples, with an emphasis on the peoples of the southwest." Please endorse the Heard Museum and help bring increased awareness of the excellent opportunities offered to the Museum visitors.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the comments from the Museum guests at the conclusion of their tours and/or involvement in Heard functions. Without exception Heard visitors are eager to tell their friends about the Heard and to visit again in the future.
