I went on my first mission to Puyo, Ecuador in 2013 and I have been living off the memories ever since. I am looking forward to the next opportunity to go back. I found Blanca's House on a random google search and was looking for a group where I can serve the underprivileged as a PA for a long enough time to make a difference but not too long where I can return and still have a job. I was going by myself and safety was a major concern but I can say without hesitation I was extremely at ease in my environment. It was such a pleasure to help the people of Ecuador and to meet such wonderful people all with the same mission. I recommend all my students to look into Blanca's House to donate time and or money because it will change them more profoundly than they think. Blanca's House is an organized group of loving caregivers and it is a privilege to have met each and every one of them and work side by side to make the people of Ecuador a little better than when we got there.
