Starfish Family Services is one of the best nonprofits for families within Southeast Michigan; they cater to those in dire need and tailor programs that best fit the public's needs. Everyday children run around the center laughing and learning, and there is no other place I'd rather work with that allows me to see children grow and develop within such a stable environment. Having been raised in a community where education was provided, working with Starfish allowed me to see how hard Inkster had really been hit, and it sparked the desire within me to help be part of the change Inkster needs.
