The Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic players, its conductor, Ulysses James, and its staff, including executive director Robin Parker are a wonderful asset to their community. The WMPA provides memorable, enriching musical experiences for their audiences. Their programs bring to the public, at very modest ticket prices, a broad cross-section of high-quality and engaging music from our own time, along with popular repertoire and cherished works from the past. They deserve all the support that the metro community is able to give.
