My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Guardettes Of Orange County Inc, Garden Grove, CA, USA
My 16 year old daughter has been dancing with Guardettes for 3 years now and it has been a wonderful experience. This organization isn't just about teaching dance, it's about building friendships and teaching an appreciation for different styles of dance. They encourage their students to do their own choreography and also to help each other. You will often see the older students helping out in the classes for younger kids. This not only improves their dance skills but gives them an opportunity to perform community service. My daughter danced at a studio for six years before she joined Guardettes. She has learned more from the staff here in a shorter time than she learned in all 6 years at that dance studio. They have several fun activies outside of dance classes to promote team bonding and friendship. My daughter loves her time there and I love the low cost & quality instruction. The board works very hard to provide a great program at a low cost and I am always impressed by how much they can do with so little.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
My daughter gets excellent dance instruction for a great price. This has built her self-esteem and keeps her busy in an extra-curricular activity that promotes physical health & good character
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
my daughter has learned a lot and made friendships that will hopefully last for years to come.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
The Guardette staff is wonderful. The dance teachers really care about their students and they push them to excel. Very organized and communication is excellent.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
increase their classes and expose more kids to dance. I have seen a lot of kids in our area that love to dance but don't have the resources to pay for classes. With more money Guardettes could provide scholarships as well as rent larger studio space.
