I have been a season ticket subscriber to Winter Park Playhouse, central Florida's only professional musical theater, for several years. I enjoy the mainstage series and the cabaret series. I am especially excited about Winter Park Playhouse's educational outreach to our public schools. Winter Park Playhouse takes musical theater to an entire school in one morning. Performances are on a stage in a school's lunchroom eliminating need for field trip permission slips, chaperones, and expense of buses. I have seen these performances. Children are enthralled seeing these performances. Teachers and administrators welcome this school - theater partnership. To achieve this mission of taking musical theater into the schools, contributions are needed and tax - deductible.
