Although i just learned of the Daniel Trust Foundation this year in that short amount of time i've gotten to know Daniel as well as the foundation itself. The work this foundation does is a light at the end of the tunnel for many students who are not fortunate enough to be able to afford the ever rising costs of college. Not only does the foundation give scholarships and grants to deserving teachers and high school seniors, the foundation is much like a family that keeps in touch and involved in their honorees lives. Not many non-profits are willing to go that extra mile to not only give back but becoming a mentor to help with future self-growth. These honorees as well as Daniel himself inspire me to not only want to be a better person but to give back to my community as well.
