Home Away Boston provides a critical service for families dealing with pediatric cancer. Providing a place to stay removes some of the stress related to what they are going through and in many cases is the only way they would be able to come to Boston for treatment because of the cost of housing. The support given by the staff and by other families is an important part of what Home Away provides and also helps contribute to a positive outcome both for the patient and their families.
