My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Love's Hope International, Inc., Nesconset, NY, USA
I am so proud to be a part of this organization. Having two adopted children and having traveled overseas to bring them home, I know the great needs of orphanages in Eastern Europe. This organization grew out of a deep concern for the well being of the orphans we met while adopting our daughter in Bulgaria. It was impossible to walk away and forget what we had seen. As the Chairman of the Board of Directors, I am committed to this cause and seeing to it that we meet our goals.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the commitment of the Directors and the Board, the speed in which it was incorporated, received non-profit status and applied for NGO status overseas.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
continue to get the word out that we exist and are in desperate need of on-going support for our programs.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
seeing how the organization has made a difference in the lives of children overseas.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Dedicated, caring, hard working, and committed to helping make a difference for the children.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
ensure the health and well being of every orphaned child in Eastern Europe.
Ways to make it better...
we were able to secure enough donors to completely fund the Infant Nutrition Program on a monthly basis.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
the state of the economy and the decrease in contributions.
One thing I'd also say is that...
this is a very worthwhile organization. The directors, the board and its volunteers all have a real commitment to seeing that Love's Hope International's programs are a success.
