I'm a first time pet parent, before adopting Noah (a lab retriever mix) I didn't see myself in becoming one. But one Saturday morning I looked up puppies for adoptions and saw Noah's profile and it was love at first sight. I talked with my family and decided to fill out an application, I didn't even know they had to interview possible pet parents before proceeding with the adoption process. Anyway ACT was prompt, courteous and really take the animals best interest as a top priority. I met Noah's foster mom and she was very accommodating and waited for us so we can have the opportunity to meet and eventually take Noah home. And even after we took Noah home I was able to keep in touch with her and ask questions to help me become a good pet parent to Noah. Now Noah is a lil over 6 mos and we love him so dearly and vice versa. It was a great first time experience in pet adoption and will definitely adopt from them again in the future.
