I joined WMPA as a member of the Philharmonic, and was surprised by the repertoire - unlike the dozens of other groups I've been a part of, WMP is adventurous in its programming. I already knew I loved Beethoven and Tchaikovsky, but now I have also been exposed to dozens of composers whose names I had never even heard of.

I joined the Board after a year in the orchestra, and have seen the passion not only for the Philharmonic, but for the two youth orchestras as well. Having matured as a musician through youth orchestras, I am proud by the affordability and quality of WMPA's two orchestras for emerging musicians.
