My name is Nadia, and I am a first-time guide dog user. I have an extremely beautiful and smart yellow lab named Blitz that I received from the Guide dog of Texas about a year ago. My guide dog allows me to go places and do things that were once impossible to accomplish without assistance from friends or family members. Now I am able to freely move around my neighborhood, go for walks, go to the park, or go to the mall. In addition, she is great with my kids. She is truly remarkable; mature and responsible in one situation, yet a playful puppy in another. She is well-trained and well-behaved dog who knows exactly what to do.
