I've been a member of WIFV for about ten years. I've participated in conferences, table reads, 48 hour projects, social events, and more through the organization. Through contacts I've made I've joined two writing groups and gotten valuable feedback on my scripts. Thanks to WIFV I currently have a script under contract with a producer. It's a healthy, vibrant, welcoming group for anyone interested in filmmaking.

As a budding screenwriter, new to DC, I've been amazed at the wealth of programming and resources available through WIFV. I've attended a lecture/luncheon and signed up for a weekend of workshops. It is a healthy and vibrant organization.
