Review for Globe of the Great Southwest Inc, Odessa, TX, USA
The volunteers and staff at the Globe are like a family. Not only does the theatre premier and promote new works by new playwrights and players, they epitomize what a community theatre should be. Blending professionals and amatures, the Globe is a home for beauty and talent to mature and blossom. Whether it be a starting place, a training ground or an enjoyable entertainment venue, it enlivens the Permian Basin with its rich history and bright future. It is a bragging right of West Texas that the Globe is there and it brings visitors and economic and intellectual diversity to the area. My life would not be the same without them.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
every aspect of my life. I would not be attending University now if it were not for the Globe Theatre and the great people therein.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
expand the grounds to include more storage space and give them a new costume department.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the way that they include young and old and bring generations of people together.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
unparalleled, dedicated, passionate, nurturing and underpaid.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
expand to open the minds and horizons of many more people, perhaps hire some more staff and bring more educational opportunities to the Basin.
Ways to make it better...
the staff wouldn't have had to spread themselves so thin to make ends meet.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
monetary and the lack of advertising capabilities. They could also use some new computers.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I have never seen one organization do so much with so little. They truly believe in the educational value of live theatre. This is an amazing venue that should be preserved for generations to come. GO SEE IT!
