“All About The Dogs” is not just a motto for Pit Sisters- it is a way of life for the dogs, their selves, and the volunteers. I have been volunteering for Pit Sisters since the beginning of the year and I am still amazed at their dedication to find fur-ever homes for the dogs and at their steadfast mission to change the negative stereotypes of pit bull/pit bull like dogs. Not all of the dogs that Pit Sisters rescue are immediately adoptable- some come with health challenges, but instead of allowing this to be a stumbling block, they dig their heels in deeper to get the dogs the medical attention needed. I have two pit bulls of my own that came from less than favorable circumstances, so I greatly appreciate their mission and thank God often for sending me to such a great organization!
