Review for Globe of the Great Southwest Inc, Odessa, TX, USA
Being 18 and out of High School I decided to audition for shakespear at the Globe Theatre. I was looking in the newspaper and saw that they had placed an add for local actors to perform in West TX Shakespear Festival! I was excited and auditioned. For being my first time auditioning at this theatre they treated me as if I had been working as an actor for many years! The Experience was amazing! I am currently still auditioning for this theater until now. This happened iin 2003 and it has made me realize that acting is very fun, exciting, and can be a career in many aspects other than just acting.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Performing and seeing it rise as a proffesional feel theatre.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
invite more people. Also Advertise much more. Maybe commercials.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the thrill of being on stage and learning behind the scenes of how a show is produced.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
very proffesional and very nice to be around.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
produce better shows with costumes and also market to get the whole community involved!
Ways to make it better...
there was more people involved and more audience members.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
marketing.
One thing I'd also say is that...
the arts is dying and we need to do what we can to keep it alive.
