Review for Maine Cancer Foundation, Falmouth, ME, USA
As a volunteer & past participant in the Tri for a Cure, I must say it was very well organized and communicated.
I have lost my sister, mother, friends and father in law to this disease. Often I ask myself how I will get through some of the 'tough' days when they are heavy on my mind and then I realize everyone has their own heartbreaking story, I am not alone. What was the most memorable & enjoyable part of the Tri, a life changing experience, was that I had the opportunity through activities or clinics to meet others that have been impacted by cancer too. This seemed to bring a real personal aspect of our efforts and empowered me to feel like I was making a difference!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Encourage the "Tri" director to be more approachable and open to the fact that not everyone is the same - let folks know its "OK" to be nervous, slow.......etc.
