Penny Sanderbeck and her so-called "rescue" give all rescues a bad name. She can find $10,000 for her legal case that would be better put to use caring for dogs. That tells you a lot about her real motives. This is not someone who truly cares about dogs. Unfortunately her stubborn refusal to reunite Piper with the owner will cause repercussions for ALL rescues. It is high time for shelters to cease turning over dogs in their care to shady "rescues."
