Women's Enews is a news service for the 21rst century. The number and variety of differing perspectives given voice in this venue is unparalleled. The issues covered range from the most prominent to the most intimate. Although war and politics affect everyone, and both are given adequate space in Women's Enews, readers are also exposed to all sorts of other news, such as the creative and positive works being done by individuals and groups all over the world, and the seemingly hopeless and certainly unglamorous situations many of our contemporary humans are forced to exist in. So many aspects of life that normally go unnoticed in the traditional news format are a large part of the coverage in Women's Enews.

Also of primary significance for me: the Women aspect of Women's Enews is as much about the way news is presented - through thoughtful, nuanced and empathetic voices - as it is about the topics themselves.

In my opinion, the fact that a news service like this exists bodes positive for the future of humanity, in terms of our heightened awareness, compassion and universal equality.
