Review for Houston Ballet Foundation, Houston, TX, USA
The Houston Ballet has done a fantastic job with the kids of Ed White. We have had a Dance Talk and a Learning From the Masters session held on our campus over the past year. Both got the kids excited about the arts and interested in participating. Since our partnership with the Houston Ballet, the number of students participating in the school dance team has more than doubled! I'm looking forward to the next year with the Houston Ballet and I hope for many years afterwards this partnership will continue! The kids really do get an opportunity to step into an experience out of their element and the resulting culture of the campus towards the arts is fantastic!
Hello KSchnarr, Thank you for your very kind comments and for your participation in our Education & Outreach programming. It is wonderful to hear that student participation in the dance team has doubled. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to dance despite limitations like school funding, facilities, or time. Our programs aim to make the registration and implementation as little a burden as possible on the students and the teachers. That is why we have free programming, flexible scheduling online, and additional resources through online. As the students of Ed White Elementary can attest, working with Houston Ballet is a great experience! Best, Houston Ballet
