Review for Global Links, Pittsburgh, PA, USA
After the Earthquake in Haiti, There was a lot of press in PIttsburgh about organizations that were helping. My kids wanted to help the victims in some way so e organized a crutches/walkers/wheelchairs drive to get my kids involved in the helping process. We collected about 18 pairs of crutches, one wheelchair and 8 walkers. It was a great way to help teach my kids about giving, empathy, and how they are members of a much larger community than just Pittsburgh. When we dropped off the donation, the staff at the warehouse was courteous and helped unload all of the stuff. It felt great to be able to help people in other parts of the world.
