Review for Music Conservatory Of Westchester, White Plains, NY, USA
I picked up the flute at age 54 after a 30 year hiatus. The Music Conservatory found me a great teacher and I now I can play even better than I did in my 20s. It's a wonderful warm place for kids and adults.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my lessons and opportunities to perform and as a volunteer
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Not only has my playing improved, but I've met a whole new group of friends who share my interest in music
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
awesome! Hardworking, supportive
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
1. Build a recording studio for the youtube generation 2. Give more scholarships 3. Develop programming for retirees who may have limited access to transportation 4. Provide music therapy to more schools, hospitals and kid's programs
Ways to make it better...
There were flexible opportunities to play more chamber music. It's hard to do...I like to play but can't commit to a fixed time each week.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Fundraising to allow more different kinds of programs
