Review for Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA, Burlingame, CA, USA
My dog and I have been volunteering as Pet Assisted Therapy Partners for the past six years with Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA. They are a wonderful to their volunteers. Their Therapy program is top notch, and is the only Therapy Group I recommend in my area. All areas of their volunteer program and well run and directed, I am proud and honored to represent this fine non-profit. Vonunteers are reminded that their role is a vital part of making all their programs work. We are recognized several time during the year by PHS/SPCA as a whole. Communication is wonderful. I would rate it 10 stars if more that five were available!
Review for HOPE Animal-Assisted Crisis Response, Eugene, OR, USA
As the human half of a team for HOPE AACR I have had the privilege of witnessing these dogs work their magic in many varied location, from natural disasters to school campuses. I have been so impressed by the organizations dedication to professionalism and well trained teams. HOPE AACR never self deploys, therefore we don't create more confusion for first responders or become victims ourselves. Each volunteer pays their own expenses. I am so proud to be a part of this organization and have met and worked with the most amazingpeople and dogs.
