Genesis Joy House is a charity with leadership that is trustworthy as well as compassionate about helping people in need. The founder, Margaret Flowers has a heart for serving others and works diligently to secure housing and resources for those who are not in a position to help themselves. I have known Ms. Flowers for over 3 years and she constantly seeks out opportunities to further the mission of Genesis. I can remember a time we were attending a function and she had the forethought to ask for the luncheon leftovers to take to a women's shelter. She said it would be a real treat for them. This simple act of kindness and thoughtfulness is a small example of the caliber of this non-profit. I am honored to know Ms. Flowers and look forward to see the countless lives Genesis will impact and the hope it will restore.
