Happy cat sanctuary is by far the best rescue ! Chris the founder is not only am amazing person, but he has a heart of gold. Every penny he gets goes directly to the cats! I met Chris about 4 years ago, when no other rescue was willing to help me with a hard to place kitten and since then he has helped me out with several cats and kittens in similar situations. I have been to the santuary several times over the years and every time I was there, the place was immaculate, evert cat is well cared for and happy! I have reached out to several rescues over the years and no one was willing to help but Chris, he goes above and beyond like no other! And like I said the most important thing is that every penny goes directly to the cats. If there were more rescues like happy cat, maybe we can put an end finally to all the homeless and abused pets
