The SAMMI Awards Foundation mission: “Celebrating and Promoting Community Involvement” brings together our community to recognize and celebrate those who make Sammamish a remarkable place to live, work and play!
This volunteer organization provides opportunities for student interns and adults to contribute in the creation and production of a free, all ages community event where volunteerism is promoted and unsung heroes recognized. Inspirational stories are featured which can help lead others to find ways in which they too can have a positive impact on the environment, community, and to help those in need.
The SAMMI Award Ceremony is free to the public and is a forum where all ages can learn more about non-profits and charitable service organizations in our community. People new to the area find this an excellent way to establish community roots and make new friends, as well as make a difference!
