Review for Opportunity Junction, Antioch, CA, USA
Volunteering at Opportunity Junction has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I continue to be amazed at the dedication and passion the staff shows to the students. What this relatively small staff accomplishes can only be described as a labor of love. They teach low income adults the computer skills they will need to compete for good paying jobs. In addition to computer training, the students are taught public speaking, office etiquette, dressing for success, team work and upon successful completion of this very intense training they emerge as confident adults ready to let potential employers know that they are the best candidate for the job. I have great admiration for the staff and all the students that go through this course.
Opportunity Junction is the model for what a Non-Profit should be.
