you can call it whatever you wish. your reputation as a rescue will forever be tarnished by this fiasco. return piper to her owner. this dog was a healthy, well cared for dog from show stock and a champion. this is not a puppy mill dog. you are giving other breed rescue groups a bad name as well. to the public, you now look like a dog broker. one that collects pure bred from shelters and turns them over for a hefty adoption fee.
