Review for Society of St. Andrew, Big Island, VA, USA
I found SoSA several years ago when I was looking for vacation Bible school materials. They had two years and both were interesting and everything you needed was included (of course, with the exception of a few items you needed to gather locally). The best part? It was all free. I was so impressed I started learning more about what the Society of St Andrew was about and how they serve communities and those who are hungry. and I began to use other materials provided by their organization. I think so much of their mission that I still support them with a monthly gift. Their work is so important!

I found out about the Society of St. Andrew looking online for free Vacation Bible School materials. I was so excited to find materials that were very well organized and supported a charity right here within the United States. Since that time, we have used both years of their VBS materials and have continued to periodically take up a collection to send them as we use their free materials for Advent and Lent seasons. They are very open and honest about where the donations go and offer many opportunities for gleaning and helping others right here at home. I love that!

Our church uses the Society of St. Andrew's materials for advent and for lent, plus we held a church-wide Bible school for two years, using their free curriculum. We follow their September Hunger Action Month calendar as well. SoSA has the right idea - don't let anything go to waste! I think this organization is one of the top non-profits in our country and hope they will be able to continue their work in the future. They are a valuable resource and in addition, use their resources wisely. I am proud to be a supporter of SoSA.

I found SoSA while looking for a Bible school curriculum. Our church is supporting this program for the first time this year and we're hoping our first whole church Bible school will be a success in September, 2014. The more research I do on SoSA, the more impressed I am! I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have joined hands with my denomination, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), just this summer. It seems my church was destined to use their curriculum for our Bible school and for us to support them financially with our offering box givings this fall. I'm hoping this will be the first of many times throughout the next years we can support their efforts at eliminating hunger.
