Review for Homeward Bound of Marin, Novato, CA, USA
I have been involved with Homeward Bound of Marin in a variety of ways since I came to Marin County in 1982. As I began my work here as a licensed marriage and family therapist, I had many occasions to refer clients to services at this uniquely supportive and important community resource for our county. One of the most striking things about Homeward Bound is that the organization welcomes people without judgement and with open arms "where they are". Homeward Bound's staff and volunteers form a network of of services and programs geared to ending homelessness for good. This is accomplished through community education, a number of different housing support programs and job training. I became a volunteer with Homeward Bound because I could see what an extraordinary group this was, and I wanted to be a part of the action!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
make it's services more widely available to the population of individuals and families in need of shelter and support. At present, I know all the programs are full to capacity, and financial constraints create worry for all in our community.
