Review for Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals, Inc., New York, NY, USA
The Mayor's Alliance does a spectacular job of coordinating and sharing the resources of way over a hundred animal rescue groups in NYC. Hosting interesting events, educating the public about microchipping, spaying and neutering and finding permanent and foster homes for animals in need as well as providing medical care for animals who might otherwise be considered unadoptable and euthanized because of their medical problems.
Staff and volunteers are wonderful people who work like galley slaves to help all the animals in need.

Review for Wolf Conservation Center Inc, South Salem, NY, USA
This is the most remarkable conservation center I have ever been to.
I am a real supporter of animals and wildlife. But I had the most remarkable experience of my life at the Wolf Conservation Center recently. I was able to interact with their new Ambassador pup, Nikai
( sp?). I anticipated that he would be napping and when awake still keep his distance, but shortly
after we entered his compound he came over to me and sniffed my clothes and hands and then licked my face and nuzzled my hair and his face was so close to mine i was able to lick his nose. ( Hope I don't sound too crazy but I couldn't resist it.)
I could pet his fur and feel his tail. He was so beautiful and such a happy and confident young wolf. It was a magical experience being so close to this wild wonderful creature. He did the same with my friend Sonia who shared our hour that was a playdate/sociaizing experiencewith this extraordinary being who is going to go on as an ambassador to the public to educate them about the wonderfulness of wolves, and help dispel some of the ridiculous myths that surround them.
I was so lucky to have had this experience. The staff at WCC is just super in how they care for, protect and treasure these animals and educate the public about them.
There is no way you can learn about and observe the wolves at WCC and not become a serious supporter and defender of the sadly maligned wolves in the wild who continue to be in peril.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
win the lottery and give them a ton of money. So I guess I'll have to start buying lottery tickets.
