I have enjoyed getting to know Sheri Burdine and for the first time ever I met others who have Hydrocephalus like me. I have seen her personally struggle with her Hydrocephalus along with getting to know that I am not alone in my journey with this condition. My wife created the two tone blue hydroephalus ribbon to support me during the tough times and this organization has helped her dream come true my making it the national awareness ribbon. Its really touched many individuals in America/Canada along with people throughout the world on every continent. Its been a pleasure witnessing people coming together; and I thank everything Hydro Angels has done to spread the word :)

Hydrocephalus for me was a very lonely road for 35yrs... I had never met anyone else with hydro and tried to deny my experience with it so I didn't have to feel so alone. After meeting Sheri Burdine and HAOA, I not only found other people with hydro, but I met an organization whose focus was on "helping" people living with hydrocephalus. I admire them for bringing the dreams of those with hydro come to pass... I also think that since Sheri lives with hydrocephalus, her approach to helping others is more empathetic than someone who doesn't have the daily trials.... Keep doing what you're doing HAOA!!! You are Great!
