Review for Central School Of Practical Nursing Trust, Brooklyn, OH, USA
I am President of the Board of this school that has been in existance since 1936. The School trains inner-city residents to become licensed practical nurses (LPN's) in the City of Cleveland, OH, and in the surrounding suburbs. Our students usually come from disadvantaged backgrounds and we have been able to create helpful and meaningful lives for our graduates. We are proud that our graduates have achieved the highest pass rate on the State Licensing Board exams of any School similar to ours in Ohio for many years. We are funded by loans from the federal government, directly-paid tuition, and charitable contributions from individuals, foundations and private funds.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
As a Board member for almost 20 years, I have personally witnessed the growth of this fine School, as well as its ability to adapt to the changing needs of nursing. Many of our staff have been employees for over 20 years as well.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
With more funding, the School could provide more direct scholarships to deserving candidates, as well as expand to better facilities.
